Gellung Warl is here – join Co-chair Meriki Onus and Elected Member for the Metro Region Indi Clarke to learn about the new body established through Australia’s first Treaty!
This year, the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria recently held our third set of elections, elected new Co-Chairs and became part of Gellung Warl (tip of the spear in Gunaikurnai).
This webinar is an opportunity for allies to hear directly from Members of the First Peoples’ Assembly who have been elected by their communities to implement the Statewide Treaty that was signed last year between the Assembly and the Victorian Government. The journey to Treaty has been led by First Peoples for decades, and allies from all walks of life are invited to join this journey.
Tune in to learn about Treaty, Gellung Warl and how you can get involved and support the Treaty Era.
There will be opportunities to share resources, ask questions and take action in support of Treaty.
This is a free webinar but registrations are essential. It is held via Microsoft Teams but attendees do not need a Teams account.
