Interim Gellung Warl Use and Custody of the Common Seal Rules

These rules provide interim arrangements for the use and custody of the Common Seal of Gellung Warl to uphold and respect accountability and ensure sound governance.

Interim Rules for the Gellung Warl CEO and Recruitment of Staff

 These rules set out interim arrangements for matters relating to the CEO and recruitment of Gellung Warl staff members to uphold and respect: 

• accountability and transparency in the appointment, performance and removal of the CEO and the recruitment of Gellung Warl staff members
• merit-based recruitment, inclusiveness and diversity
• cultural protocols, and 
• continuity and efficient and effective internal processes.

Interim Electoral Rules (Reserved Member Appointments, Electoral Roll and Casual Vacancies)

These rules set out interim arrangements for appointing reserved members, managing the electoral roll and filling casual vacancies, to uphold and respect: 

• integrity, fairness and accountability
• participation, representativeness and inclusivity
• cultural protocols, and 
• the self-determination of Traditional Owner groups.

Interim Assembly Internal Governance Rules 

These rules set out an interim internal governance structure for the Assembly to uphold and respect: 

• proper, consistent, and sound internal governance
• cultural protocols
• the independence of Nginma Ngainga Wara and Nyerna Yoorrook Telkuna
• accountability in decision-making and the performance of functions
• efficient and effective internal processes, and 
• the diversity of First Peoples, their cultural knowledge and the right to self-determination.
