Notice of First Peoples’ Assembly internal rules

Under section 33 of the Statewide Treaty Act 2025 (Vic) (Statewide Treaty Act) the First Peoples’ Assembly (Assembly) may make internal rules that relate to the internal affairs of Gellung Warl. 

This notice is made under section 40(1) of the Statewide Treaty Act, which requires the Assembly to publish a notice of making internal rules.

On 7 May 2026 the Assembly made the Interim Electoral Rules (Reserved Member Appointments, Electoral Roll and Casual Vacancies) under sections 17, 33 and 62 of the Statewide Treaty Act and Schedule 1, Item 3.1(d) and Schedule 2, Items 4.3-4.4 and 5 to that Act.
