Notice of First Peoples’ Assembly internal rules

Under section 33 of the Statewide Treaty Act 2025 (Vic) (Statewide Treaty Act) the First Peoples’ Assembly (Assembly) may make internal rules that relate to the internal affairs of Gellung Warl. 

This notice is made under section 40(1) of the Statewide Treaty Act, which requires the Assembly to publish a notice of making internal rules.

On 7 May 2026 the Assembly made the Interim Rules for the Gellung Warl CEO and Recruitment of Staff under sections 20(4) and 33 of the Statewide Treaty Act and Schedule 1, Items 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 to that Act.
