Gellung Warl is here – join Co-chair Djaran Murray-Jackson and Elected Member for the Metro Region Jedda Atkinson-Costa to learn about the new body established through Australia’s first Treaty!
The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria recently held our third set of elections, elected new Co-Chairs and became part of Gellung Warl (tip of the spear in Gunaikurnai).
This webinar is an opportunity for organisations to hear directly from Members of the First Peoples’ Assembly who have been elected by their communities to implement the Statewide Treaty that was signed last year between the Assembly and the Victorian Government.
Tune in to learn about these exciting new updates on the Treaty journey, Gellung Warl and how NGOs, Unions, community groups, Local Councils and more can support.
There will be opportunities to share resources, ask questions and take action in support of Treaty.
This is a free webinar but registrations are essential. It is held via Microsoft Teams but attendees do not need a Teams account.
This event is open to First Peoples and allies.
