Metro Region

The Metro region covers Melbourne and the major outer towns of Lilydale, Sunbury, Melton, Whittlesea, Hastings, Rosebud, Wonthaggi, Leongatha and many towns and suburbs in between. The Metro region is rich in history and proud in culture. Our people have been here for tens of thousands of years. Our lands and waters are sacred and Country has nourished us since time immemorial.

We acknowledge our ancestors. We’re here to continue their legacy, and the fight of our Elders and old people. Now Treaty is a reality, we invite Community in the Metro region to continue engaging with us and providing your much-needed ideas and feedback.
